Oswego Health, a nonprofit healthcare system based in New York with over 18 locations, partnered with 1800 Notify for appointment reminders in June 2015. Tara Saya, Sr. Technical Engineer, shared why she has advocated for Oswego to stay with 1800 Notify despite competition over the last decade. She noted two main factors, “great customer service and unmatched reliability.” Tara Saya also mentioned that “1800 Notify has competitive pricing compared to other appointment reminder systems.”
Oswego Health uses 1800 Notify integrated with MEDITECH EHR to send phone call and text message appointment reminders.
Barry Ryle, Oswego’s Vice President of Information Systems & Chief Information Officer has also enjoyed working with the 1800 Notify team. “Their dedication to customer service and dependable performance has been instrumental to our ongoing partnership. Their cost-effective solutions have been a valuable part of our patient engagement initiatives. By improving appointment attendance, 1-800 Notify has played a key role in enhancing clinical operations while improving patient care and satisfaction.”
When asked why Oswego Health originally chose 1800 Notify they noted “We chose 1800 Notify initially because of Martin Trautschold (Founder & CEO). We work very well together and the onboarding process was quick and seamless. The rest of the 1800 Notify team, including our Project Manager, Melinda Brush, have been absolutely wonderful to work with over the years as well.”
Tara Saya also commented on how reliable 1800 Notify’s appointment reminder service is. She said, “There have been only 3 times in the last 10 years that something has happened to the reminders, but it's always been immediately resolved, and the service is solid and reliable compared to competitors.”
