In this article, we show you how to adjust the speed of calls going out for your entire account by changing the number of outbound calling phone lines dedicated to your account.
NOTE: You can also limit number of phone lines for a specific message. To learn how to do this, see this related article: Adjusting Phone Lines for A Single Message.
A few things to keep in mind:
(a) Each line can turn into a transfer of a patient (depending on your message and time of day), but typically only a small percent of people usually transfer (we have seen transfers around 1 in 20 calls, but sometimes you can see as high as 1 in 10 calls transfer).
(b) A good rule of thumb for total number of calls completed per minute will be roughly 50% of your total number of allocated lines. So if you want to complete 5 calls / minute, then you would allocate 10 lines. This could vary widely based on number of answered calls, busy/no answers, and transfers.
