Pharmacy Qlick-to-Pay App Privacy Policy

This document describes 1-800 Notify’s policy regarding information received about you during your use of our Epic Willow Ambulatory connected Pharmacy Click-to-Pay App. We believe you should know what data we collect from you and how we use it.  We believe you should be able to make decisions about the information that you share with us.


1. Information You Share With Us

To start the process of using the Pharmacy Qlick-to-Pay App, your healthcare organization will need to scan (from a barcode) or enter your medical record number or "MRN" from the Epic Willow Ambulatory system.  Your MRN is used by the App to pull up all prescriptions that are available to be dispensed / paid at this time.  The MRN also pulls just enough demographic information to be able to send you the Click-to-Pay link via SMS text message (your mobile phone) or Email message (your email address) and your name.  Then, depending on how your healthcare organization has configured the App, in order to authenticate or verify your identity, we may ask for one of the following pieces of personal information: date of birth of the patient, street number or PO Box of your billing address, ZIP Code of your billing address.

NOTE ABOUT MINOR PATIENTS: If the patient whose MRN is being used to start the Pharmacy Click-to-Pay App is under the age of 18 years old, then it is likely that the contact information retrieved is that of the parent or guarantor (e.g. mobile phone number / email address).

2. Additional Information We Receive About You

Additionally, when you choose to make a payment on our Service, you may enter your Credit Card, Debit Card, or Bank Account information to complete the payment.  At no time do we store the actual credit/debit card number, or bank account information on our App or servers, but only transmit it at the time you enter it onto our secure payment processor. 

At your choice, you may choose to save your payment method as a secure tokenized payment method for future use.  We will only share this information with the payment processor that is selected and approved by your healthcare organization.

3. Information We Share and Disclose

We share the information you provide with your healthcare organization that has contracted with 1-800 Notify to provide the Pharmacy Click-to-Pay App.  Additionally, if you choose to make a payment on the Service using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Bank Account, we will share that information with our payment processor, who is selected and approved by your healthcare organization.  We do not store your payment information anywhere on our servers.  We will not disclose or supply this information to any other party. 

4. Managing Your Personal Information With Us

If you find that your personal information used to authenticate yourself on this App, or your payment total for the prescription or list of prescriptions presented on the Click-to-Pay App is not accurate, you must contact your healthcare provider directly to correct this information.

Deletion of Data - We keep data up to a maximum of 18 months, and may, upon request of our clients (your healthcare organization) reduce the storage duration of this data for your particular Pharmacy Click-to-Pay App.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
