FollowHow to Export Generic / When your Scheduling System is not shown
NOTE:
Every system we have encountered can either export to a file or print to a PDF document. This
document is meant to help you figure out how to export or print to PDF from your system. You will
need this file to upload to your secure account at www.1800notify.com in order to call or text your
patients. If you need any help at all, our support specialists happy to help you over the phone, or with a
free web meeting.
FILE CONTENTS:
Patient first & last name
Patient phone number
Appointment Date and Time
Any other details you wish to use to customize the message (could be appointment type, details, provider name or anything else).
ACCEPTED FORMATS:
- XLS, XLSX (Microsoft Excel)
- TXT (Text)
- PDF (Adobe PDF)
- CSV (Comma Separated Variable)
HOW TO GET THIS DONE:
- OPTION 1: Create a report with all the information you want, then export or print to PDF format.
- OPTION 2: Export the scheduling information directly using an Export command.
OPTION 1: CREATE REPORT,
THEN EXPORT OR PRINT TO PDF

1. Start your Scheduling system and log in.
2. Locate and click on any menu command or button to bring up reports, examples include the following:
- Reports > Appointment Reports
Reports > Scheduling
- You may need to then locate a specific report or create one. Examples might be Scheduling Report, Daily Schedule, Appointment Report or Appointment Schedule (By Date).
- You then usually will have to select the** Start Date** and** End Date** for the report.
- If you seen an EXPORT button, use that. Otherwise, use the PRINT function and print to a PDF format file.
- IMPORTANT: SPECIFY WHERE THE FILE IS BEING SAVED. If you are given the choice, click the Browse… button to and put the file into a folder you will remember, psuch as your Desktop or My Documents.
- Type a file name – usually (month)-(day)-(year) format like: 10-20-2012.
- Once you have 3 days of sample files, please contact us and well show you how to get them to us securely.

OPTION 2: USE AN EXPORT FUNCTION**

- Login to your EMR / Scheduling System.
- Locate an EXPORT function.
- Look for something that will export DAILY APPOINTMENT Details including: Date, Time, Patient Name, Patient Contact Phone, and any other relevant information that you would like to use to customze the appointment.
