Securely Download Files Using 1-800 Notify (Secure File Sharing, Download Uploaded Schedule File)

This article shows you how to download files securely from your account on www.1800notify.com.  

You may want to do this if someone in your organization uploaded a file that you want to download.

You can also use this if you need to grab a schedule file that was previously uploaded and use it to re-upload for an emergency closure notice.  

Example: You previously uploaded a schedule file for appointment reminders from 2 days from now, now a major snowstorm (or ice storm) is forecast for tonight and you need to call all patients and give then the emergency closure notice.  You would download the schedule file for tomorrow and re-upload it selecting the emergency closure emergency broadcast message.  See this related article: https://1800notify.zendesk.com/entries/77687467-Creating-Broadcast-or-Emergency-Announcement-Messages-in-1-800-Notify-Office-Closing-Event-Announcem

NOTE: If you want to upload a sample file (or files) to 1-800 Notify, then please follow the steps shown in this related article.

The next steps assume someone has already uploaded the file to your account.

1. Login to your account on www.1800notify.com

2. Click on the FILES tab.

3. Select All from the pull-down menu next in the middle of the page in the Files section.

1. Now, you should see all files uploaded.  Click the Date column once or twice to make sure it is sorted in with most recent files uploaded at the top.
   

1. Then click the underlined file name to start the download.  Depending on your browser, the file may automatically download to your downloads folder, or you may be allowed to select a folder location to receive the downloaded file.

If your browser allows you to select a file name and folder location, then you will see a window similar to the one below.

Click SAVE to complete the download.
