STEP 1: Set your default printer to a PDF printer.

NOTE: If you don't have a PDF print driver installed, you will need to install one first.  You can use any PDF printer, but we have found the free one from PrimoPDF works fine with our service.  Learn more in this article.

How you do this depends on your particular operating system.  But in general you will want to get to the list of installed printers, right-click on the PDF printer and select "Set as default printer"

STEP 2: Print the daily schedule to a PDF file from Merge RIS

1. After you login, click the Schedule tab.

2. Select your location or "All" locations.

3. Select the date for the appointments you wish to export.

4. Click FIND at the bottom.

5. You can select a specific schedule here or do not adjust this to select all schedules for printing.

6. Click the PRINT button in the lower right corner.

7. Select Schedules as shown.

8. Click COMPLETE.

9. Click YES to Print Comments.

Now, depending on which PDF printer you have installed, you may see some options on the format of the file.  Usually, the defaults are OK.

Then you may be asked to specify a file name and location for your exported appointments.  We recommend selecting a folder / location you can easily remember when you have to securely upload that file to www.1800notify.com.  And also, name the file the date of the exported appointments.

Example: 05282015 for 05/28/2015 appointments.

STEP 3: Log into your account on 1800notify.com and securely upload that file to send out the reminders.

Here are steps showing you how to get that done.
