Now, you can easily send phone call or text message appointment reminders from EdgeMED. If you want to send affordable appointment reminder calls or text messages from EdgeMED, you can use the service from 1-800 Notify by simply exporting your daily schedule to a PDF print file and uploading it to your HIPAA secure account. It's very easy to setup and use. Once you get going, it just takes about 3 minutes a day to send a reminder call or text all your EdgeMED patients!
VALIDATE MOBILE PHONE NUMBERS: If you choose, we can auto-detect if the phone number you entered is a valid mobile phone or a land line. If it's a mobile phone and you want us to send a text reminder, we'll do it.

STEP 1: Save your EdgeMED schedule to a PDF Print file
1.1 Click on the Print icon, select Day Schedule
1.2 Select the From and To dates of the appointments you wish to export and send the reminders. For example, if you wanted to send reminders for appointments scheduled on 10/24/19, you would select 10/24/19 for FROM and TO.
Leave everything else alone.
Click the green check mark.
1.3. Select P Print Preview and click the Green Check mark.
1.4 Verify the date at the top and the patients listed below are what you would expect.
Then click the Print icon.
1.5 Then select a PDF printer, any PDF printer is fine. PrimoPDF is shown in this example.
1.6 If you are using PrimoPDF, then see your PDF printer screen with some options.
Click Create PDF.
If you are using another PDF printer, you may see a different screen. Select the default options.
1.7 In the Save As window, make sure you know the folder where the file will be saved - see the top bar. As you'll have to locate this file when you upload it to your account at www.1800notify.com.
Rename the file to the date of the appointments.
Click Save

You're done with the export! Next, login to your account at www.1800notify.com to securely upload your file and schedule when the reminders will start.
STEP 2: Upload the Excel file to your account to schedule and send the Reminders
