Create a New Text Message

In this article, we'll show you how to create a new text message.

NOTE:  In order to send the text message, you will have to have a Reminder Message  set up that refers to this text message template.

In this example, we'll be creating a message called "Weather-Alert-Text" to be used in a broadcast text / call combination going out to employees to notify them that the office will be opening 2 hours late due to the ice storm.

Create a New Text Message

1. Login to your secure portal at

2. Click the LIBRARY tab.

3. Click the TEXT MESSAGE sub-tab.

TIP: Search for the text message template to see if it might already exist using the search window.

In this case, the Weather-Alert-Text does not exist, so you will need to create a New one...


4. Click the NEW button.

Type a name for the new text, in this example "Weather-Alert-Text"

Type your text message.
